Terms & Conditions
These are the terms and conditions of the SEABW 2025 Conference (the “Agreement”) governing your attendance at, and participation in, the Southeast Asia Blockchain Week Conference 2025 (or ‘SEABW25 Conference’) on 2nd & 3rd April, 2025 at the True Icon Hall at ICONSIAM in Bangkok, Thailand (the “SEABW Conference”).
By registering and purchasing tickets for the SEABW Conference at the www.seablockchainweek.org (which includes ticketing & payment providers for the SEABW Conference, the “SEABW Website”), you agree to these terms and conditions, which form a binding legal contract between ShardLab Pte. Ltd. ( “SEABW” or “we”) and the registered attendee or participant (“Attendee” or “you”).
You may only register on behalf of another individual if you have legal authority to do so; it is your responsibility to ensure the Attendee (being another individual) is aware of this Agreement. Such Attendee is deemed to accept, and be bound by, this Agreement.
- Access
- Admittance. Your registration entitles you to admittance and perks to the SEABW Conference based on your particular registration tier (as provided below). Any and all other costs associated with your attendance (including, without limitation, travel and accommodation expenses) shall be borne solely by you, and we shall have no liability for such costs).
- All ticket types will only provide access to the SEABW Conference.
- VIP Pass holders will also gain access to the SEABW VIP Dinner on 23rd April, 2025, which includes the SEABW Conference speakers, sponsors, partners and invited stakeholders. General Pass and Student Pass holders will only be provided access to the SEABW Conference, and not the VIP dinner.
- All ticket types are available for purchase on a limited availability and first-come-first-serve basis.
- We reserve the right to update applicable tiers, pricing, discounts and perks, from time to time, at our sole discretion.
- Registration Requirements. Once you have completed your registration, you will receive your registration confirmation by email. Please ensure that your valid email address is entered correctly on the registration form, with your legal first and last name, and any other requested details. Be sure to check your junk email box in case any of your SEABW email(s) are caught by spam filters. You will receive essential information for registered Attendees electronically at the email address you provide on the registration form for ticket purchase. Payment details and ticket QR links will be sent to the email address provided during the purchase. You agree that SEABW shall not be liable to you in any way (including by being required to provide you with a new registration confirmation) if you are not able to access said email address. In this regard, SEABW’s obligation to deliver a ticket to you upon payment shall be fulfilled upon SEABW sending you the said registration mail at the said email address.
- The price of each ticket type will be subject to:
- the applicable discount rates at the relevant time period as determined by SEABW at our sole discretion, from time to time, and
- will be available in limited quantities for each ticket type as determined by SEABW at our sole discretion, from time to time.
- Please note that the event ticket will not be transferrable or resellable after purchase.
- Payment
- The payment of the applicable fees for each ticket type or tier for the SEABW Conference is due before registration/tickets are issued to the Attendee. If such payment is insufficient or declined for any reason by the applicable payment partner, or if such payment is not credited to our account, and we have already issued a registration/ticket to you, we may cancel your registration/ticket and refuse to admit you to the SEABW Conference.
- All ticket purchases can only be made with fiat or crypto, subject to payment provider availability for the relevant crypto. The tickets are priced in US Dollars and additional payment processing, ticketing processing fees will apply to the ticket fee, subject to your mode of payment. The ticket fees will also be subject to additional GST, sales tax, value added tax, or other taxes and duties, which, if applicable, will be charged to you in addition to the ticket purchase price.
- Transfer Requests:
- SEABW Conference registration transfer requests must be sent to [email protected] no later than the deadline mentioned above.
- Cancellation
- Please note that there are no refund or cancellation options available for registration/tickets.
- Verification, Ticket Collection, and Admission
- On-site identification verification will be conducted for all tickets, and if there is a mismatch with the registered attendee information, you will not be able to receive a name-tag and badge, and will be denied entry into the SEABW Conference 2025.
- Valid identification documents include resident registration card, national identity card, driver's license, passport, or any official document with a photo.
- For student tickets, on-site verification will be conducted via a student ID card with a photo and identification card. If student identification cannot be verified, the purchaser will be required pay the price difference (at the price of the ticket at the time of the event) to receive a name tag and wristband, and only then will be allowed entry into the SEABW Conference 2025. For holders of student tickets, both a valid identification and a student ID card with a photo must be presented on-site.
- Please bring the required documents as instructed and proceed with personal verification at the registration desk to receive the name tag and badge. Name-tags and badges can only be collected on-site.
- If you do not possess either the name tag or badge physically, entry will not be allowed under any circumstances. If your badge is lost, or misplaced or damaged, a replacement will only be issued at the ticket price paid by you and reissuance is strictly prohibited. SEABW will not provide more than one replacement per Attendee. We strongly recommend that you keep your badges safe and do not lose/damage them. Applying excessive force or heat to the name tag and wristband may cause damage, and depending on the extent of damage, entry may be denied.
- Once you have received your badge onsite, it cannot be changed, substituted, or reissued to a different person.
- Badge Misuse. Attendees wearing counterfeit or otherwise falsified badges and/or sharing or swapping badges, will be immediately removed from the SEABW Conference and banned from future events of SEABW. SEABW considers such conduct theft of service, trespassing, and fraud, and will report violators to law enforcement authorities, as necessary. If such conduct is discovered after any SEABW event, violators will be invoiced according to on-site registration pricing and will be required to pay their invoice(s) in full in order to avoid being reported to law enforcement authorities.
- The use of someone else's resident registration card, driver's license, passport, or any other form of identity theft is subject to civil and criminal charges under applicable laws.
- If any unlawful act as mentioned above is discovered during the personal verification process when collecting tickets, the SEABW and ticketing agencies will immediately report it to the police, cooperate fully with the investigation, and hand over the relevant individuals .
- Furthermore, please note that the SEABW and ticketing agencies will not be held responsible for any unlawful acts related to personal verification.
- Admission tickets are valid for both days of the SEABW Conference and there is no option to purchase one-day access tickets.
- Other Legal Terms & Conditions
- Consent to Record. By registering, You irrevocably agree to authorize and grant SEABW the right to:
- Record you (picture and voice) on photographs, film, and/or video tape, for audio and visual production and edit such recording into a photo gallery/short film/webinar (which may include other recordings and material).
- Use your name and likeness, voice, or other information concerning you and screen or place the recording online (including on social media) in any media now available or hereafter developed, and to distribute, broadcast, use, or otherwise globally to disseminate, in perpetuity, such media without any further approval from you or any payment to you. This grant of rights to SEABW includes, but is not limited to, the right to edit such media, the right to use the media alone or together with other information, and the right to allow others to use or disseminate the media.
- Such recordings shall be the sole and exclusive property of SEABW.
- You further agree that SEABW shall under no circumstances, whatsoever, be held liable for any infringement or violation of personal and/or property rights, whatsoever, based on the use of such recording by SEABW or its partners.
- This grant of rights to SEABW includes, but is not limited to, the right to edit such media, the right to use the media alone or together with other information, and the right to allow others to use or disseminate the media.
- SEABW Content. You acknowledge and agree that SEABW, in its sole discretion, reserves the right to change any and all aspects of the SEABW Conference, including but not limited to, the SEABW Conference name, themes, content, program, speakers, performers, hosts, moderators, venue, and time.
- Age Requirements. No one under the age of 18 will be permitted entry into the SEABW Conference.
- Visa Requirements. It is the sole responsibility of the Attendee to take care of any visa requirements - please read our visa guidelines for more information. Attendees who require an entry visa should allow sufficient time for the application procedure. Attendees should contact the nearest embassy or consulate to determine the appropriate timing for their visa applications.
- SEABW will not contact embassies and consulates on behalf of visa applicants. Attendees may contact [email protected] to obtain an invitation letter to the SEABW Conference after they have registered for the SEABW Conference. Failure to obtain a visa in advance of the SEABW Conference does not constitute a valid basis for obtaining a refund.
- Limitations on Use. By accepting a complimentary SEABW Conference pass, you agree not to sell, trade, transfer, or share your complimentary code or badge. By registering for a paid SEABW Conference pass, you agree not to share, sell or trade your badge. In the instance that SEABW determines that you have violated this policy, SEABW may cancel your badge(s), retain any payments made by you, report you to law enforcement authorities, and ban you from future SEABW events.
- Disruptive Conduct. You acknowledge and agree that SEABW reserves the right to remove you from the SEABW Conference if SEABW, in its sole discretion, determines that your presence or behaviour create a disruption, or hinder the SEABW Conference or the enjoyment of the SEABW Conference by other Attendees. These instances include if you are inebriated, or violent, or abusive, or act in any manner which disturbs other audience members, speakers, assistants etc. of the SEABW Conference. All SEABW Conference badges are the property of SEABW and must be returned to SEABW upon request.
- Suitcasing. “Suitcasing'' refers to the practice of attending a trade show but “working the aisles” from a suitcase or briefcase, soliciting business from other attendees and exhibitors. For the good of the SEABW Conference and the sponsors and exhibitors supporting the SEABW Conference, the only legitimate place to conduct business during show hours is within a contracted exhibit space on the show floor. Exhibiting companies are encouraged to protect their investment and report any violations to SEABW management. Attendees observed soliciting business in the aisles or other public spaces, or in another company’s booth, will be removed from the SEABW Conference and may be banned from future events in SEABW’s sole discretion. If you witness this practice during the SEABW Conference, please immediately report the offense to SEABW management.
- Photography, Recording, Live Streaming, and Videotaping. Attendees may not record, stream or otherwise broadcast audio or video of sessions at SEABW Conference events. SEABW allows cameras on the exhibit floor and Attendees may take pictures within the exhibit floor for purposes of company or annual reports, company media pieces, marketing materials, etc. Attendees are responsible for compliance with all applicable intellectual property, privacy and publicity laws, rules, and regulations. Attendees observed recording sessions in any content room or area will be removed from the SEABW Conference and may be banned from future events in SEABW’s sole discretion. Attendees who are media partners will be provided special access to record and stream at the SEABW Conference, subject to SEABW’s sole discretion of the location and timing.
- Unethical/Non-Compliant Marketing. SEABW reserves the right to deny admission to anyone who engages in or is reputed to engage in unethical or non-compliant marketing practices.
- Exclusions. In addition to the requirements and prohibitions set forth in this Agreement, SEABW may also exclude any prospective attendee from registering for or attending the SEABW Conference, in SEABW’s sole discretion. Furthermore, SEABW reserves the right to cancel, in its sole discretion, any Attendee’s registration upon refund of the ticket fees paid to SEABW, provided that SEABW may retain all fees paid where an Attendee is rejected or ejected from the SEABW Conference for violating any prohibition or requirement set forth above.
- No Responsibility. You agree that the SEABW or any of its partners, agents, officers, employees shall not be responsible for any injury, damage, theft, losses or cost suffered at or as a result of the SEABW Conference or any part of it related to the SEABW Conference. It is acknowledged by you that at the time of registration, SEABW provided the most recent information available, and you accepted that the SEABW Conference’s content and/or delivery can change beyond the control of SEABW. You agree that SEABW shall not be liable and/or responsible for any errors, omissions, or changes to the program or content of the SEABW Conference.
- SEABW Rights. All intellectual property rights in and to the SEABW Conference, the SEABW Conference content, and all materials distributed at or in connection with the SEABW Conference are owned by SEABW or the SEABW Conference sponsors in partnership with SEABW or speakers presenting at the SEABW Conference as designated by SEABW.
- Attendee Restrictions. You may not use or reproduce or allow anyone to use or reproduce any trademarks (including without limitation to “Southeast Asia Blockchain Week”, “SEABW”, “SEABW Conference”, “Hashed”, and “ShardLab”) or other trade names appearing at the SEABW Conference, in any SEABW Conference content or in any materials distributed at or in connection with the SEABW Conference for any reason without the prior written permission of SEABW. For the avoidance of doubt, nothing in this Agreement shall be deemed to vest in you any legal or beneficial right in or to any trademarks or other intellectual property rights owned or used under license by SEABW or any of its affiliates; nor does this Agreement grant to you any right or license to any other intellectual property rights of SEABW or its affiliates, all of which shall at all times remain the exclusive property of SEABW and its affiliates.
- Indemnification. Attendees agree to indemnify, defend, and hold SEABW and its affiliates harmless from any breach or violation of the requirements and prohibitions set forth in this Agreement.
- Disclaimers. EXCEPT TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMISSIBLE UNDER APPLICABLE LAW, SEABW DISCLAIMS ALL REPRESENTATIONS AND WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, CONCERNING OR RELATED TO THIS AGREEMENT, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, USAGE OF TRADE, ACCURACY, TIMELINESS, OR CUSTOM OF DEALING. SEABW gives no warranties in respect of any aspect of the SEABW Conference or any materials related thereto or offered at the SEABW Conference. SEABW does not independently verify the truthfulness, accuracy, or completeness of any data or content presented or showcased at the SEABW Conference, and is not responsible for the fraud, misrepresentation, negligence, or misconduct of or by sponsors, their agents, or related third parties; speakers, their agents, or related third parties; other Attendees, their agents, or related parties; the SEABW Conference venue, its agents, or related third parties; or any other vendor or other third party.
- SEABW is not responsible to any other party, including users of the SEABW Website, the SEABW Conference, SEABW Conference related events, or any related events or ticketing or payment platform(s), for actions, omissions, diligence, or decisions of, by, or on behalf of Attendee or its agents.
- Total Liability. Except as required by law, neither SEABW nor its affiliates shall be liable for any direct, indirect, special, incidental, or consequential costs, damages or losses arising directly or indirectly from the SEABW Conference or other aspect related thereto or in connection with this Agreement. The maximum aggregate liability of SEABW for any claim in any way connected with, or arising from, the SEABW Conference or this Agreement, whether in contract, tort, or otherwise (including any negligent act or omission), shall be limited to the amount paid by you, and only limited to you, for the SEABW Conference under this Agreement.
- Privacy Policy
- By registering for the SEABW Conference, you are consenting, under all relevant data protection legislation and other applicable legislations in force, to SEABW communicating with you by telephone, e-mail and post and using your personal or company information for the following purposes:
- SEABW’s internal purposes, which will include accounts processing and internal analysis of delegates/speakers, and disclosure to SEABW’s advisors, auditors etc.,
- Publishing your employer’s or company’s names on the SEABW Website, in the official catalogue for the SEABW Conference, and/or in any other directory relating to the SEABW Conference or relevant industry, in each case whether in print, electronically, or in any other media,
- Inviting you to other events held on the same dates as, or around, the SEABW Conference;
- Disclosure of information to contractors who provide services in respect of the SEABW Conference, and
- Disclosure or transfer to SEABW’s affiliates to allow the group to further develop its business and services to delegates.
- SEABW owns and operates SEABW Conference and related events and is committed to protecting the privacy of its attendees. SEABW does not rent, share, or sell your contact information or other personal information to any third parties outside of SEABW and its affiliates. Attendees who share their contact information shared via the process during registration or onsite via manual or electronic means, including but not limited to a lead retrieval badge scanner are willingly sharing their contact information with SEABW and SEABW Conference sponsors. Attendees from the European Union and the State of California who share their contact information shared with SEABW Conference attendees do so willingly and expressly agree to do so.

- Cancellation Policy
- If the SEABW Conference cannot be held or is postponed due to events beyond the control of SEABW, or due to events which are not attributable to wrongful intent or gross negligence of SEABW, SEABW will not be liable to you for any damages, costs, or losses incurred, such as transportation costs, accommodation costs, costs for additional orders, financial losses, etc. Under these circumstances, SEABW reserves its right to either retain the entire registration fee and to use it for a future conference/event, or to refund the registration fees to you after deducting costs already incurred by SEABW.
- No refunds will be given if a delegate/speaker to the SEABW Conference cancels their booking or fails to attend the SEABW Conference, or if SEABW Conference commences or ends later than the scheduled times present on the SEABW Website.
- You acknowledge and agree that this Agreement and the restrictions therein are fair and reasonable and are reasonably necessary to protect the interest of SEABW and to protect the value of SEABW’s business and associated goodwill.
- Miscellaneous.
- SEABW’s failure to exercise any right provided for herein shall not be deemed a waiver of any further rights hereunder.
- Without prejudice to any other terms of this Agreement, SEABW shall not be liable for any hindrance, failure, or delay in performing any of SEABW’s obligations arising out of or in connection with these Agreement, as a result of an event or series of connected events beyond SEABW’s reasonable control (including, without limitation, acts of God, extreme weather conditions, power failure, floods, lightning, storm, fire, explosion, war, riot, civil commotion, military operations, acts or threats of terrorism, malicious damage, strike action, lock-outs or other industrial action (whether involving our workforce or the workforce of any other party), failure or shortage of power supplies, etc., or any technical, electrical, internet, or any such failure, the default of suppliers or sub-contractors, compliance with any law or governmental order, rule regulation or direction, accident, failure or breakdown of plant, machinery, systems or vehicles, or a pandemic, epidemic, civil emergency or other widespread illness. If such event takes place (or SEABW reasonably determines is about to take place, SEABW shall be entitled, without liability, at SEABW’ sole discretion to vary, perform, suspend performance of, postpone, cancel the SEABW Conference and/or the contract between us and/or terminate the contract between us subject to this Agreement on giving written notice to you.
- If any provision of this Agreement is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that the remainder of this Agreement shall otherwise remain in full force and effect.
- This Agreement is not assignable, transferable or sub-licensable by you except with SEABW’s prior written consent.
- This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of Thailand and the parties shall submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts sitting in Thailand. Notwithstanding the foregoing, any dispute arising under this Agreement shall be submitted to arbitration before a sole arbitrator (jointly appointed by the parties to this Agreement). A party that substantially prevails in an action brought under this Agreement is entitled to recover from the other party its reasonable attorneys’ fees and costs.
- Notices under this Agreement sent by you to SEABW are invalid unless sent to the following address: 68 Circular Road #02-01, Singapore, and also sent to [email protected].
- You agree that this Agreement is the complete and exclusive statement of the mutual understanding of the parties to this Agreement, and that this Agreement supersedes and cancels all previous written and oral agreements, communications and other understandings relating to the subject matter of this Agreement.
- You further agree that SEABW reserves the right to modify these Terms, at its sole discretion, from time to time. Modifications to this Agreement, or waivers hereunder (whether in writing or through conduct) shall not be deemed valid and effective, unless SEABW updates this Agreement on the SEABW Conference’s website.
- No agency, partnership, joint venture, or employment is created as a result of this Agreement and you acknowledge that you do not have any authority of any kind to bind SEABW in any respect whatsoever.
